Interactive Futures Leamington

May kicked off with our team participating in Interactive Futures Leamington, where several of our talented team members took the stage as speakers. Sharing insights and discussing careers in the games industry, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry peers and for our team to share their unique perspectives.

 

Platinum Award at Hermes Creative Awards

We are thrilled to announce that our marketing campaign for Home Invasion earned a Platinum Award at the Hermes Creative Awards! This prestigious recognition is a testament to the hard work and creativity of our marketing team, and we couldn’t be prouder of this achievement.

 

Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental health is a top priority at Soul Assembly. To support Mental Health Awareness Week, we organised after-work tennis sessions, giving our team a chance to unwind, have fun, and foster a healthy work-life balance. It was a great way to promote mental well-being and strengthen our community spirit.

 

Barclays Game Frenzy

Our lead tech artist represented us at Barclays Game Frenzy, an event celebrating innovation and creativity in gaming. It was an inspiring experience, filled with engaging discussions and opportunities to network with fellow game developers.

 

XR Awards Finalist

We are honoured to have been named a finalist in the XR Awards for Best Transformation Story. This recognition highlights the studios growth and our commitment to creating XR experiences .

 

Cultural Diversity Day

Diversity is at the heart of our company culture. We celebrated Cultural Diversity Day with enthusiasm, sharing stories, food, and traditions from around the world. It was a day of learning and celebration, showcasing the rich tapestry of cultures within our team.

 

SpecialEffect Football Fives

Our football team had a blast participating in the Special Effect Football Fives, an event supporting the incredible work of the Special Effect charity. It was a day of friendly competition and laughs, all for a great cause.

 

Warhammer Skulls Event

May also saw us participating in the Warhammer Skulls event, where we unveiled exciting updates for Freeblade. Our team worked tirelessly to bring new content and enhancements to our beloved game, and we were thrilled to share these with our passionate community.

 

New Team Members

We welcomed several new starters to the Soul Assembly family this month. Their fresh perspectives and diverse talents are already making a positive impact, and we’re excited to see how they will contribute to our ongoing projects.

 

Cabin Update – Shotgun Revamp

Our game, Cabin, received a significant update with the much-anticipated shotgun revamp. The team has been hard at work fine-tuning this feature, ensuring a more immersive and exciting gameplay experience for our players.
